The owner of the 19th-century Przeździecki Palace in Warsaw is Roman Karkosik, a seasoned investor with more than 30 years’ experience in the Polish and international markets.
His career started from building small commercial ventures. Next, through a series of acquisitions as key business development moves, he created a large corporate group with a global reach and importance, which now employs 12,000+ people worldwide.
Drawing on his large experience as the leader of change and growth, in cooperation with his trusted group of top managers, he has also been successful in turning around businesses and creating value through corporate restructuring.
Currently, Roman Karkosik is a majority shareholder of the Polish companies Boryszew S.A., Impexmetal S.A. and Alchemia S.A. from the automotive, chemical and metal sectors.
Another important area of Roman Karkosik’s activities is his work as a committed philanthropist and a passionate conservationist of Poland’s architectural heritage. Besides Przeździecki Palace in Warsaw, he is also the owner of the meticulously restored and maintained 18th-century Palace in Kikol near Toruń (central Poland).
